Radio
Since starting at BBC Radio Cornwall in January, I have excelled at a variety of roles, from reporter to producer.
Alongside pieces that have been broadcast nationally and regionally, I frequently produce content that reaches +150,000 listeners in Cornwall.

Here's a short demo tape

Interviews

Regular live reporting across all shows using an iPhone, iRig mic, headphones and the Luci Live app.
Packages
Alongside my other radio and digital duties, I produce multiple pre-recorded interviews, packages and bulletin clips each week for BBC Radio Cornwall.
Here are some of the things I've got up to... (go on, give them a click)
Voxing
I also record and edit various voxes for the Breakfast show.
I have built up a reputation for high-quality voxes as this feedback demonstrates:
One of my favourites to make was the Christmas Carol vox and it was sent up to the Central News Service so that all stations could use it (and it was chosen as a respin on lots of other Radio Cornwall shows)!
It received really positive feedback too:

Outside Broadcasts!
I have worked on countless OBs as a production assistant.
Here are some of the skills I've gained from these shows:
-
Research and recce of sites
-
Sourcing and prepping guests
-
Time and resource management
-
Technical skills on various broadcast equipment (see specifics here)
-
Interviewing on location
-
Frequent two-ways with presenter
-
Mid-show problem-solving and planning
-
Social media coverage of event
-
Gathering additional content for future shows

Live 10 min two-ways broadcast regionally
I'm very experienced in live two-ways, both in and out of the studio, but I am particularly proud of these 'Live Guides' for multiple reasons:
-
The speed and efficiency needed to research this quickly
-
How many people were listening across the South West (and Channel Islands for one of them)
-
The length of time I needed to remain engaging for
